First Phase of Biomedical Digital Libraries: 2004-2007

For almost three years we published smoothly with BioMed Central.

After I became co-editor BDL adopted the practice of completely open peer review, which was a somewhat controversial decision. Over these years I felt that BDL was a valuable member of the health sciences librarian journal community, and we had solid editorial support from BMC.
